Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, Dr. Kate Petty earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Denver before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz.
A lifelong fitness enthusiast, she has been coaching weightlifting and CrossFit since she was 17, and brings that same passion for performance and movement into the clinic. She particularly enjoys working with higher-level athletes who want to push their limits, as well as patients with chronic pain, helping those who have been managing conditions for years, or even decades, explore new strategies to live more functional, active lives.
Dr. Petty's goal is to combine her expertise, coaching experience, and problem-solving mindset to help every patient reach, and exceed, their personal goals.

I am originally from Denver, CO. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology from MSU Denver before pursuing my passion for healing through massage therapy at the Colorado School of Healing Arts, where I graduated in December 2025. My expertise lies in therapeutic massage, with a focus on neuromuscular and deep tissue techniques. I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their wellness goals through tailored treatment plans. My commitment to ongoing education ensures that I stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy.

I specialize in therapeutic massage that supports pain relief, improved mobility, and overall muscular health. My work focuses on addressing chronic tension, postural strain, and stress-related discomfort through deep tissue techniques and targeted manual therapy. I enjoy working with clients seeking support for chronic pain management, prenatal care, or nervous system regulation. Each session is tailored to individual needs and goals, whether that involves focused therapeutic work or a full-body treatment designed to promote relaxation and recovery.
Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, especially swimming. I'm a former CrossFitter, so I have a strong appreciation for how the body responds to movement, load, and recovery. I'm especially interested in how stress and emotional strain show up physically—often as chronic tension or muscles that feel "stuck." This curiosity shapes how I work with the nervous system, helping clients feel more at ease so their bodies can relax and respond more effectively to treatment.

I was introduced to Reiki in 1997 during a time of profound transition. It brought clarity and steadiness when life felt fast and uncertain. What started as an intuitive recognition during that first healing session naturally evolved into a lifelong practice—one that has remained a steady, intuitive practice and that I now feel honored to share with others.
Years later, I was drawn back into active practice while helping a close friend through her autoimmune healing journey. Through my own healing experience with sciatica, I also discovered The Emotion Code, a more targeted energy release method that results in true healing. I was completely free of my sciatic pain in five weeks! So, naturally, I went on to complete my certification so I could share this simple, yet powerful, work with others.
I believe we are all here to grow and evolve into the greatest version of ourselves. With conscious intention, gentle support, and a willingness to listen inward, we can actively participate in our own healing and transformation.
Today, I offer Reiki and certified Emotion Code sessions as gentle, supportive tools for healing on all levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. These modalities work with the body’s natural intelligence to ease tension, promote relaxation, and support recovery, while honoring each person’s unique path and timing.
It is an honor to offer this work at Intrepid Body Works, alongside a collaborative community of practitioners dedicated to whole-person healing. My intention is to provide a calm, compassionate space where you can reconnect with yourself and move forward in your healing journey with greater clarity and ease.

I'm Ian Harris, a licensed massage therapist specializing in corrective, neuromuscular, and pain-focused massage therapy. My work centers on understanding how the body adapts to stress, injury, posture, and repetitive movement patterns, and using targeted manual therapy to help restore balance, function, and long-term pain relief.
I work extensively with chronic pain conditions including thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and neck and shoulder tension. Each session begins with listening and assessment so I can address the underlying muscular and nervous system patterns contributing to pain, rather than simply treating symptoms.
My approach integrates neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, cupping therapy, percussion therapy, and movement-based techniques when appropriate. I often work with active individuals, desk workers, and people managing ongoing pain, nerve compression, or mobility restrictions. I also value collaborating with other healthcare providers when massage therapy can support a broader treatment plan.
I'm known for my calm presence, attention to detail, and results-driven care. I take time to explain what's happening in the body so clients feel informed and involved in their healing process. My sessions are designed to be both therapeutic and grounding. Supporting nervous system regulation while creating meaningful, lasting change.
I view massage therapy as a balance of science, skill, and presence. My goal is to help people feel more at home in their bodies, move with greater ease, and experience relief from pain and tension that extends well beyond the treatment room.

Joel Packard is an acupuncturist with over two decades of experience helping clients find pain relief, restore energy, and cultivate greater mind-body balance. DEEP TISSUE WORK ONLY!!
I graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts, where I developed an integrative approach to address a variety of client needs effectively. I specialize in client-focused treatments that target specific areas of pain, tailoring each session to achieve optimal results for individual requirements. By utilizing deep tissue techniques, such as myofascial release and trigger point therapies, I offer effective relief and relaxation. My commitment to understanding each person's unique needs is fundamental to my practice. Whether you are an athlete, a professional at a desk, or experiencing stress, my approach will help alleviate tension in both your muscles and mind.
My journey started wanting to help people feel better and get relief. My goal is to get you to relax and revitalize your wellbeing. In my personal time I enjoy being outdoors going on walk, hikes or camping. I can also be found at museums or on a small road trip to see new places and things.
Steve practices myofascial release, NMT, focus pain work, and cupping. He is available Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9-7. Call or schedule online to find out how his amazing deep tissue work can change your life for the better!

"10 out of 10 stars! Dr. Ian was thoughtful, took time to work on everything I mentioned and I feel so much better. I've never had a chiropractor take the whole appointment time to work on me and won't go anywhere else now that I've found him!"

She is certified in Prenatal, therapeutic massage, Ashiatsu, cupping and so much more. Clients already love her work and her schedule fills fast so don't wait to give Trisha a try!

My name is Mariah Tritz and massage therapy and yoga are my passion! I have done other jobs in the past but never have I looked forward to getting up each morning to help the clients that come in my door. Now I do! I achieved many goals while attending the Denver School of Massage Therapy including 4.0 honor roll and clinic professionalism awards. I focus now on the specialty modalities of massage including Craniosacral and Barefoot (FashiAshi) Massage. Barefoot massage is an excellent way to get deep work without the pokey elbows and pointy fingers that can cause discomfort. I adore this modality and wish I would have found it sooner!
I am no longer offering traditional, hands on massage! I will only be offering FashiAshi Barefoot sessions as I find they work better for both me and the clients!
I take a great deal of time in finding and hiring only the very best! The team I have assembled has over 80 years of experience and hundreds of hours of continuing education. While we all work slightly differently our focus and goals are the same for each client; customize each massage to address the issue and work for change to get results. The acupuncture and chiropractic teams are held to the same high standards. Please feel free to try any or all of the staff here, all of us are here to help you feel your best. Thank you for choosing Intrepid Bodyworks!

The Thornton Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting this fun evening to raise awareness of local nonprofits. Proceeds from ticket sales will be split between the nonprofits so lets sell out the venue and help nonprofits!

Red Rocks Memorial 9/11 Stair Climb
Accepting donations for the 15th annual Red Rocks Memorial stair climb! We will be participating with Hands Helping Heroes providing post event sports massage for the people walking the event. If you would like to help out but can't make the event please stop in the office and leave a donation or you can join the facebook group for Hands Helping Heroes and donate through that page.
HHH was started in Colorado in June 2025 to help cover out of pocket costs for veterans and injured first responders for alternative health care options including acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, mental health therapy, and physical therapy. Many insurance companies do not cover or allow these alternative options as part of their plans but taking medications means our first responder cannot work while on pills and it takes longer for them to recover for injuries. Out of pocket costs, even with insurance, can be $100 or more per visit. Hands Helping Heroes wants to help cover or decrease those costs.
Help us help those that serve us and donate today!

When you book an appointment the massage therapist is setting aside that time for you. Therapists do not get paid if you don't show up at most locations...that is not the case at Intrepid Bodyworks. Our therapists are paid for no show appointments because it is not the therapists fault if you forget your appointment. Your credit card on file is only ever used if you schedule an appointment and then do not show up or do not cancel your appointment 12 hours or more in advance. The cancellation fee is the full price of the missed appointment cost and will be charged once your appointment time has been missed. If you do not wish to put a credit card on file you can pre pay for your massage on the gift card page on this site. When you call you will be asked for your gift card number so please have that available. Thank you for understanding our massage therapists’ time is valuable!
